Program Description
Both local and wide area networking skills are needed by all sectors of the computer and business industry. This certificate draws together courses that will equip students to excel in this competitive job market. Two paths of study as well as many basic certificates are available to this curriculum designed to allow maximum flexibility (choice), while ensuring minimum job qualifications, and proficiency in at least one area. Two paths of study as well as many basic certificates are available to the student of computers. The first path is to go directly into the work force after completing the AAS degree. While pursuing this path, students may select courses to support several specialization of your choice. The second path is to prepare for transfer to an upper division school in order to earn a 4 year degree.
