Program Description
Business analysts understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization and have the ability to recommend solutions to help the organization achieve its initiatives. DePaul University's Business Analyst Certificate Program provides a detailed overview of the International Institute of Business Analysis's Body of Knowledge supplemented with case studies and marketplace resources. The program also prepares students for Business Analysis industry certification exams. Over the course of this 10-week program, students gain a toll-belt of approaches, methods and techniques necessary for a BA to deliver value throughout the Business/IT life-cycles of change. The BA-centric roles taught within the program include: facilitator, requirements analyst, business process/workflow modeler, task/user interface designer and business entity modeler.

Application Procedure
When a customer arrives with an Exploration Form, a member of our registration staff meets with them, gathers pertinent information to complete forms and provides basic information about the program they are interested in. By the end of the meeting, the customer is provided with a completed exploration form, a letter of intent, a DePaul CPE registration form, a copy of DePaul's student policies, a program brochure, and a student agreement. An appointment with registration staff to complete the exploration form is required. If the customer has specific program questions, they also need to meet with a program manager. An additional appointment with the program manager is required. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $8,000.

- HS Diploma/GED
- Other - Bachelor's degree in Business and/or 1-2 years of full-time work experience in a business setting.
