Program Description

The basic vocational certificate in dental office aide does not include clinical experiences but students will learn about disinfection and sterilization protocols of the office, lab procedures such as exposing and processing radiographs and cleaning and polishing removable appliances. Basic office duties of scheduling and confirming appointments will be covered along with keeping treatment records, sending bills, receiving payments and ordering supplies and materials.
