Program Description
The 60-hour Pharmacy Technician Training Program prepares participants for the state licensing process. After completing this program, participants will be able to: Demonstrate knowledge of federal and OSHA requirements relating to the preparation and distribution of pharmaceuticals; Perform conversions and calculations relating to sterile and non-sterile compounding; Identify common medication errors and apply corrections to avoid them; Use common pharmacy billing and inventory practices; Demonstrate knowledge of drug classifications and therapeutic agents and their applications in prescription treatment. Cost includes tuition, uniform, and CPR certification.
