Program Description
The accounting program of ECC provides you with the necessary skills to perform accounting functions from comparatively simple bookkeeping to financial analysis underlying management decisions. The two-year degree include the study of accounting terminology, systems of accounting, types of business entities, types of information to be measured and the use of management accounting concepts. Students are also introduced to fields of accounting such as cost accounting, budgeting, and taxes. In addition to concentration in accounting, you have the opportunity to study related fields including business law, economics, management and data processing.
