Program Description
Elgin Community Colleges Basic Vocational Specialist Certificate program in Emergency Medical Technology-Paramedic exposes the student to a wide variety of emergency situations, including direct patient care in one of the participating EMS system hospitals and on emergency vehicles. After completion of the program, candidates are eligible to take the EMT-P licensure exam in the state of Illinois.
