Program Description

he Pharmacy Technician program prepares you to work under the direction of a pharmacist in a community or hospital setting. Pharmacy technicians create and update patient profiles, work as part of a team to fill prescriptions, and more.The course connects students with an externship partner (optional) so they can fulfill graduation requirements. In addition to one-on-one instructor support, students will receive a lab kit, eBooks, and an exam voucher. Students demonstrate success by passing the final examination with 85% or higher which enables them to take the national certification exam and seek employment in the field of study. One on one instructor support, student advocate support and personalized graduate support, student program community and online support, as well as access to an online reference library. Education to successfully pass the exam for the Pharmacy Technician program, prepared for national certification exams and to successfully work in field of program study. The program is 294 hours plus optional 130 externship hours
