Program Description
The Professional Medical Coding program prepares students for the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) and Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certifications. Students develop a healthcare knowledge base and train on current and advanced code sets. Enrollment includes eBooks, codebooks, and a certification exam voucher. Students demonstrate success by passing the final examination with 75% or higher which enables them to take the national certification exam and seek employment in the field of study. Students have access to one-on-one instructor support, student advocate support and personalized graduate support, student program community and online support, as well as access to an online reference library. Students receive education to successfully pass the exam for the Professional Medical Coding and Billing, prepare for national certification exams and to successfully work in field of program study.
