Hemodialysis Technician with Externship

Program Description
This program is specially designed to help the student:
5 Learn routine patient care
5 Gain extensive theoretical knowledge, with clinical and technical practice in a laboratory setting
5 Prepare for the CHT (Certified Hemodialysis Technician), CCHT (Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician), or CCNT (Certification in Clinical Nephrology Technology) certification examinations. Voucher included for the CHT certification exam from the Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing Technology. Note: to sit for the CHT exam, one must do an externship.
Students demonstrate success by passing the final examination with 75% or higher which enables them to take the national certification exam and seek employment in the field of study. Students have access to one-on-one instructor support, student advocate support and personalized graduate support, student program community and online support, as well as access to an online reference library.
