Program Description

Develops skilled workforce in information technology security. Teaches information security concepts, principles, methods, techniques, practices, and procedures for today's IT security professionals. Graduates can become employed as IT security specialists, firewall and VPN specialists, and data assurance specialists. Application Procedure

This program consists of one degree and four certificates. All ICT courses must have been completed during the 5 school years preceding degree or must have approval of the Dean of Career, Technical, and Health Education programs. Complete application for admission, send high school transcript/GED to Admissions, complete COMPASS placement test, meet with an advisor/counselor to select classes. Note: CSC does not require the disclosure of medical marijuana use, but many employers will require drug screening.
