Program Description
The programs prepare students for employment in the agricultural mechanic and technology professions. Students will learn basic concepts of animal/plant/soil sciences, understand safe and proper operations of agricultural equipment, and learn how to perform maintenance and repairs to agricultural electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic machines/equipment. The AAS can be completed in 2 years; the Certificate can be completed in 2 semesters. Employment after graduation may include Ag Equipment Mechanics, Customer Support Representatives, Ag Machinery Sales and Service Reps, Farmhands, and Landscaping & Lawn Servicers. Certificate: 31 hours/ approx. $6600.

Complete an application for admission, send official high school transcripts or GED scores, complete the placement exam, and meet with an advisor to complete the registration process. Can complete financial aid application if desired. Note: CSC does not require the disclosure of medical marijuana use, but many employers will utilize drug screening.
