Program Description

An instructional program that prepares individuals to practice the cleaning of teeth and related oral health therapies, either independently or in collaboration with dentists. Includes instruction in basic preventive oral health care, oral health education, dental hygiene therapy, initial periodontal therapy, patient examination and counseling, dental radiography, local anesthesia, prosthetic casts, equipment operation and maintenance, and record-keeping.
