Program Description
Within the Graphic Arts AAS degree, the Marketing Specialty track (only) has been approved for WIOA funding. Combine creativity, technical skill, and an interest in art with a background in Marketing by pursuing this program. The Marketing Specialty is designed to prepare students to design and work for Marketing departments in a wide range of industries. MCC's art department fosters a vibrant community of student-artists. Youll find our studio space, instruction, and course offerings are diverse and up-to-date, cultivating ingenuity and creativity. Courses in the Graphic Arts program are open to all ages and abilities, and a wide variety of courses in the program cover basic to advanced skills. Youll learn techniques using computer-based applications and traditional approaches in design, drawing, and illustration. Youll graduate with a portfolio of work ready to share with potential employers and a solid foundation of knowledge to help you enter a career in Marketing.The Graphic Arts AAS program is designed so you can complete your Fundamentals of Design, Web Design and/or a Graphic Design certificate as you work toward your degree.
