Program Description
In this course youll review and assemble the knowledge and skills gained through the prerequisite courses and train for working under the supervision of a Practice/Operations Manager or their designee to provide the following duties: scheduling appointments, patient intake and care, routine diagnostic and recording procedures, maintaining medical records, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, medicine administration, first aid, recording vital signs and medical histories. Coursework will include basic anatomy and physiology; medical terminology; medical law and ethics; patient psychology and communications; medical office procedures; and clinical diagnostic, examination, testing, and treatment procedures. This program includes the pre-requisite courses (CNA, EKG and Phlebotomy)
