Program Description
The Criminal Justice Certificate serves as a foundation for associated professions that require fundamental knowledge of the criminal justice field. Students will acquire broad, foundational knowledge of the field across multiple areas of employment, including corrections, emergency dispatching, criminal law, and community policing, which will enable them to intelligently analyze the process of American Criminal Justice as it unfolds daily across the country. This certificate complements the AAS in Criminal Justice and will reinforce the students knowledge of the complexities of the field.
