Program Description

MCCs degree and certificate programs in Software Design and Development teach the essentials of front-end and back-end development, combining programming, database fundamentals, and UI/UX design. Youll learn to code in multiple languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python, and gain the skills to keep up with the latest software development tools, even after you graduate. Beyond the technical aspect of the curriculum, youll learn how to address business requirements of software design, test applications, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. In your capstone course, youll also get a chance to apply your skills by working on projects for a local business or creating a professional-grade personal project
