Program Description
You'll be prepared to earn EPA Section 608 Certification. The Commercial Heating II Certificate prepares entry-level heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians to work on various commercial heating systems. You'll develop a basic understanding of commercial gas and electrical heating systems, boilers, rooftop heating systems, direct digital controls, and the properties of air. Training includes electrical troubleshooting, servicing and cleaning commercial heating systems, and multimeter and diagnostic test equipment use.
