Program Description
The Phlebotomy Technician Certificate Program prepares students for all aspects of phlebotomy in a health care setting, including collection procedures, safety guidelines, patient rights, test requirements and equipment basics. Students will be able to accurately perform venous collection, explain the proper steps for collection, and identify the supplies needed for collection. This program also provides a foundation for possible transition into other health care careers.
