Program Description

Focuses on the skills and knowledge needed by entry-level production workers and prepares participants to take the four Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT) examinations. Upon successful completion of this certificate, the students will be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed for the production of products to meet customer�s needs while ensuring the manufacturing process meets business requirements while maintaining quality and implementing continuous improvement processes, that ensures that product and process variances meet quality standards while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This program is endorsed by 9 local employers.
