Program Description
This program is designed to prepare the student for employment to work with dentists as they examine and treat patients. The student learns to prepare materials for making impressions and restorations, how to expose radiographs and process dental X-ray film. They are also taught how to disinfect instruments and equipment, prepare tray set-ups, provide post-operative instructions and instruct patients in oral health care. They are also taught office management where they learn how to bill and make appointments.
