Program Description
If you have more than a year of HVAC/R experience, this course will prepare you for the next stepcertification. HVAC/R technicians are in demand, but certified technicians can earn more and have better career opportunities.
This course uses hands-on service call simulations to prepare for the HVAC Excellence or NATE certification exams. By course completion, you will be ready to pass the HVAC Excellence Core and Professional Technician exams, the NATE Core and Specialty Test exams, and the EPA 608 certification exam. You will also receive a voucher package to take the HVAC Excellence exams.
Requirements:
Hardware Requirements: This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac. Webcam and microphone for testing. Software Requirements: 5 PC: Windows 8 or later. Mac: OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 or later. Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible. A 64-bit browser is required for the simulations. Adobe Flash Player. 5 Adobe Acrobat Reader. Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.
Other: Email capabilities and access to a personal email account. Instructional Material Requirements:
Programs is self-paced. You can start and finish the program at your own pace. Upon registration for the program, you are given 12 months to complete the program.
