This course is designed to prepare qualified individuals to work as nursing assistants in long-term care facilities (nursing homes) and hospitals under the direct supervision of a License nurse. The student is introduced to the discipline of nursing and learns basic approached to patient care. The role of the nursing assistant is to assist the licensed nurse and be a vital member of the health care team. This is presented studies and practiced in the classroom and laboratory
