Program Description
Students will gain knowledge of operations in a variety of pharmaceutical settings and gain an understanding of the pharmacy technician's role, including the History of Pharmacy Practice, Laws and Ethics of the Pharmacy Profession, Medical Terminology, and how medication works in the body.
Students will be prepared to take and pass the National Certification Exam. The aim is to provide studentd with training needed to succeed in the retail, community, or hospital pharmacy setting.
