Program Description
The Welding Technology Degree is designed to provide students with the skills required to weld with multiple process (e.g., S.M.A.W., G.M.A.W., G.T.A.W.) to existing American Welding Society, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and American Petroleum Institute standards, codes, or specifications on structural steel designs and fabrications and pressure piping systems that have been engineered approved. The degree will also allow students to understand design, implementation of, support of, and manage blueprint interpretation for fabrication of structural steel and pressure piping systems and designs inside of a shop or as outside construction.
