Program Description
The program is based on the fundamental theories of engineering graphics with advanced course work specializing in the different drafting occupations. As a drafter, you will be converting abstract ideas into a working design, whether its drawing a car part or a small part of a huge piece of factory machinery or rendering architectural designs into stable structures. This means preparing detailed drawings based on rough sketches, specifications, and calculations made by engineers, designers, architects, and project leaders; calculating the strength, quality, quantity and cost of materials; and testing and writing technical reports, estimates and specifications.
