Program Description
This 61-credit-hour program is designed to assist students in a wide variety of business occupations. The curriculum is structured to meet the needs of individuals interested in gaining or improving business knowledge and management skills. The program develops abilities that will help organize, coordinate and evaluate the functions of a unit, department or branch or an organization in either an industrial or administrative management capacity.This degree also provides the fundamental management skills needed by the successful owner-manager of a business. Depending on the study area selected, students will gain knowledge and practical skills in entrepreneurship, finance, human resources, management or marketing. Students must choose a specialization that fits their interests and needs, and complete 12 credit hours of course work from that area of study.

Must contact Diane Carter-Zubko at 847-758-2372 when approved to pursue program at Harper. Student must apply to Harper College www.harpercollege.edu. Pay $25 application fee or obtain fee waiver code from Diane Carter-Zubko. Student will be directed to appropriate Harper College Academic Advisor for an educational plan.
The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $8,000.

- Math - 12th grade level
- Reading - 12th grade level
- Language - Instruction in English
- Writing - Per College Placement Test Cut-off scores
- Other - All credit-seeking WIOA clients must have initial & ongoing advising
