Program Description
Prepare to become a dental assistant in this 12-week online live course designed to teach all aspects of dental assisting and enable you to be job-ready. Topics include anatomy and physiology, infection control, imaging, and patient care. Students are eligible for an externship of at least 40 hours (background check/drug screening may be required). All materials are mailed to your home once you register. Students must be 18 years of age or older at the time of enrollment.

Application Procedure
WIOA and TAA students need to contact the Harper College Workforce Coordinator at (847) 925-6782 or WIOA@harpercollege.edu. A separate book voucher is required for Follett Bookstore #1341 on campus. Books can be ship if requested for a small fee. Each semester, all Cook County WIOA sending agency case managers must supply the Harper College Workforce Coordinator with a Semester Training Schedule Approval Form that lists the courses the client will be taking that semester, and this must match the client's Harper Educational Plan. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $5,000.00.
