Program Description

This 23-credit hour certificate program is designed to prepare students for business software development. The student will be prepared for an entry-level software development position. Students should have a strong mathematics background prior to enrollment in software development courses. Placement into MTH 101 or higher is required, and MTH 103 is recommended. Application Procedure

3WIOA and TAA students need to contact the Harper College Workforce Coordinator at (847) 925-6782 or WIOA@harpercollege.edu. A separate book voucher is required for Follett Bookstore #1341 on campus. Books can be ship if requested for a small fee. Each semester, all Cook County WIOA sending agency case managers must supply the Harper College Workforce Coordinator with a Semester Training Schedule Approval Form that lists the courses the client will be taking that semester, and this must match the client's Harper Educational Plan.4 The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $8,000.

  • Prerequisites - Placement into MTH 101 or equivalent prior credit
