Program Description
This 18 credit-hour certificate program provides students with experience installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware, operating systems, and basic network infrastructure, and providing high-quality end-user support. These courses will help students prepare for the CompTIA IT Fundamentals, A+, Network+, HDI Desktop Support Technician, and ITIL Foundation certification exams and quality for entry-level jobs as computer and network support technicians and service desk representatives.

Application Procedure
3WIOA and TAA students need to contact the Harper College Workforce Coordinator at (847) 925-6782 or WIOA@harpercollege.edu. A separate book voucher is required for Follett Bookstore #1341 on campus. Books can be ship if requested for a small fee. Each semester, all Cook County WIOA sending agency case managers must supply the Harper College Workforce Coordinator with a Semester Training Schedule Approval Form that lists the courses the client will be taking that semester, and this must match the client's Harper Educational Plan.4 The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $5,000.
