Program Description
Take the first step toward a successful career in creating mobile apps! Youll learn web and app development skills that will prepare you for the mobile market. Web design and development will be complimented by the growing popularity of mobile devices and e-commerce practices. Mobile positions now account for a quarter of all tech employment making it the most popular job type in the tech industry. The industry needs for mobile skills are currently in high demand. Ideal for individuals interested in pursuing an entry-level career in developing professional mobile applications and for those whose job responsibilities have expanded to include mobile technology. Courses include Web Foundations, Web Graphics and Prototyping, Mobile Apps., WordPress and Mobile Technologies, IT Project Management, Computer Logic and Programming, Database Systems, Web Accessibility, and Social Commerce. This program may be completed as part of Harper College's Fast Track cohort model for busy adults. Benefits of Fast Track include:
- Earn credit that can be applied toward an accredited Associate degree.

Application Procedure
WIOA and TAA students need to contact the Harper College Workforce Coordinator at (847) 925-6782 or WIOA@harpercollege.edu. A separate voucher is required for Follett Bookstore #1341 on campus. Each semester, all Cook County WIOA sending agency case managers must supply the Harper College Workforce Coordinator with a Semester Training Schedule Approval Form that lists the courses the client will be taking that semester, and this must match the client's Harper Educational Plan. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $8,000.
