Program Description

The 60-hour technical curriculum provides a strong theoretical and practical foundation for students for technical-level positions in the emerging field including cybersecurity and information technology assurance, information security analysts, penetration testers, and digital forensics analysts. The courses are aligned with CompTIA (ITF+, NE+, Linux+, Sec+, Cloud+, PenTest+), Certified (SSCP), Microsoft Windows Server Administrator, ISC2 Systems Security Certified Ethical Hacker, and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) certifications.

Application Procedure

WIOA students need to contact the Harper College Workforce Coordinator at (847) 925-6782 or WIOA@harpercollege.edu. A separate book voucher is required for Follett Bookstore #1341 on campus. Books can be ship if requested fora small fee. Each semester, all Cook County WIOA Semester Training Schedule Approval Form that lists the courses the client will be taking that semester, and this much match the client's Harper Educational Plan. Total Tuition Cap for this program is $8,000.00

  • Math - Placement into MTH 101 or above
  • Reading - Placement into ENG101 or ENG 096 with a grade of P or other options
  • Language - Instruction in English
  • Writing - Placement into ENG101 or ENG 096 with a grade of P or other options
  • Other - All credit-seeking WIOA clients must have initial & ongoing academic advising
