Program Description
This 16-hour certificate program is designed to prepare students for careers in the field of electronics and other related technology industries. The curriculum is very flexible to allow students to choose from a number of electronics courses in many diverse technology areas, and is tailored to provide entry-level career training in relatively short time. A broad range of electronics courses provides considerable emphasis on analysis, operation, application, installation and servicing. Many courses do not require a prerequisite. However, for those courses that do, please consult with the program coordinator.Students completing this program may find employment in various entry-level positions in technical sales, manufacturing and quality control, and customer service.

Application Procedure
3WIOA and TAA students need to contact the Harper College Workforce Coordinator at (847) 925-6782 or WIOA@harpercollege.edu. A separate book voucher is required for Follett Bookstore #1341 on campus. Books can be ship if requested for a small fee. Each semester, all Cook County WIOA sending agency case managers must supply the Harper College Workforce Coordinator with a Semester Training Schedule Approval Form that lists the courses the client will be taking that semester, and this must match the client's Harper Educational Plan.4
The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $8,000.

- Language - Instruction is in English
- Other - All credit-seeking WIOA clients must have initial & ongoing academic advising
