Program Description
Basic Nursing Assistant (BNA) prepares students to work in the health care industry as a Certified
Nursing Assistant (CNA). Students will be introduced to the discipline of nursing and the basic approaches to patient care. The role of the CNA as an assistant to the licensed nurse and member of the health care team is studied and practiced in the classroom, laboratory and clinical setting. Upon successful completion of all components of the program, the graduate must pass the State competency exam to become certified as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Illinois.

Other expenses include: Gait Belt, Castle Branch, Accurate Biometrics and CPR. Each student will need to have a physical and titers which may cost between $120-$275 dollars which customer should work with Career Coach for payment.
New students must apply to the college (online). Take placement exam or submit official transcript from all colleges and universities attended. Submit BNA medical examination forms completed by medical professional, submit to a drug screening and background. Provide a copy of a valid CPR card for healthcare providers and vaccinations.
The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $3,000.
