Program Description
This credit class offered through the Daley College Advanced Manufacturing Department provides students training in manufacturing technologies and skills including Precision Measurement, Computer Aided Drafting, Blueprint Reading, manufal machining, CNC lathe and mill operation. The classes are a combination of lecture, homework and hands on experience with machines similar to the type found in industry. There are 10 classes in this program and if students wish to continue they can progress on to an Associates in Applied Science in CNC Engineering Technology following this Advanced Certificate in CNC. Extensive hands on lab time allows students to have confidence in their skills when they interview with employers. All of the services and supports of Daley College are available to students including job fairs and company visits.
