Program Description
This credit class offered through the Daley College Advanced Manufacturing Department provides students training in manufacturing technologies and skills including Electrical, Electrical Controls and industrial preventative maintenance procedures, tools and techniques. Skills include mechanical and electrical measurement, blueprint reading, torquing and conduit bending. The classes are a combination of lecture, homework and hands on experience with machines similar to the type found in industry. There are 10 classes in this program and if students wish to continue they can progress on to an Associates in Applied Science in Mechatronics following this Advanced Certificate. Extensive hands on lab time allows students to have confidence in their skills when they interview with employers.
