Program Description
The Kishwaukee College 160-hour truck driver training program puts well-trained drivers on the road. The training combines classroom presentation with hands-on experience that leads to a Class A Commercial drivers license. The course will provide you with the basic skills to become a safe, professional truck driver. Upon successful completion, you will be able to secure an entry-level position in the trucking industry.

Application Procedure
Optional 8 hours of classroom training for Hazmat.
Applicant must fill out CDLTS Form #136 Confidential Application Form during initial interview. Student must fill out several employment applications during the course of the program. Student must bring Class D License and Social Security Card to initial interview. Please call 815-825-2086 ext. 2050 to register or to receive answers to any questions you have.
There is a $50 License Fee to the DMV at time of application.
