Program Description
This program is designed to align with Manufacturing Skills Standards Counsil (MSSC)standards for the Certified Logistics Associate (CLA). This course covers the core competency areas required for high skilled, front-line material handling workers accross all supply chain facilities. Topics include basics of supply chain logistics, golobal supply chain logistics life cycle, logistics enviroment, material handling equipment, safety principles, safe workplace communications, teamwork and workplace behavior and computer usage. Upon completion students will be assessed for the foundation level Certified Logistics Associate credential.

Non-credit students can meet with a program manager to get information on programs available and then go directly to registration and register and pay for program. Some programs may have requirements such as background checks, CPR cards, physicals, drug testing, fingerprinting etc. These may be additional fees that are required prior to program start and may be an additional cost other then tuition and book fees.
The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $5,000.
