Program Description
This for-credit program consists of fourteen courses (41 credit hours) and teaches advanced supply chain management concepts, principles and practices. Key topics include core technology skills and business/industry content. Students learn about both domestic and global issues in supplier and customer relations, value-added product differentiation, cost management, and the basic professional skills required to succeed within this industry. Students completing this program gain the educational background necessary for advanced-level positions, or if currently employed in the industry, enhanced professional knowledge and career advancement potential. Completion of all fourteen courses leads to the awarding of the Advanced Supply Chain Management Certificate.

The standard Moraine Valley Community College application process applies. Students meet with an academic advisor to evaluate any transfer eligible credits and create an academic plan. Accuplacer testing may be required. Tuition charged based on in-district rates. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $5,000.
