Program Description
This program prepares students for employment in the welding field. Students gain experience in SMW (stick), gas metal arc welding (mig), gas tungstern arc welding (tig), submergend arc welding flux, cored arc welding, braxing, braze welding, oxy fuel and plasma cutting. Welding print interpretation, electrical welding circuits, and related safety procedures are also studied. Once the student gains employment and experience in the field of welding this education gives the students the tools for a successful career.
