Program Description
The Welding Technology degree is designed to prepare the student for the ongoing demand for occupations in the industrial welding sector. Students will have the opportunity to design a course of study to prepare them for occupations in the maintenance, structural, or pipe welding fields. The degree also prepares the student for transfer to a four-year institution as well. There is, and will be a need to replace welders at all levels as the baby-boomers retire.
