Program Description

The Agriculture Business Program is a two-year program designed to prepare individuals for jobs in the rapidly expanding field of agriculture supply, distribution and service. Students prepare for a career in selling and retailing agriculture supplies, provide services to farmers regarding the use of agriculture supplies, including applications of Global Positioning Systems, agriculture research and quality control, and operation and management of an agriculture business. Placement of graduates has been consistently near 100%. Students will receive training in the latest developments in technical agriculture as well as general college subjects and actual work experience in agriculture business through the supervised occupational experience program.
