Program Description
Students will learn how to wire, troubleshoot and program cutting-edge industrial programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and robots. This will give graduates the training for two internationally recognized industry certifications; the Rockwell Automation Programmable ControlLogix Maintainer Certification and the Fanuc Robot Certification.
Rockwell Automation Logix Maintainer Certificate issued by Rockwell Automation
The three courses help students to learn and apply Logix5000™ concepts, terminology, hardware troubleshooting skills, and interpretation of ladder logic in a Studio 5000 Logix Designer® project. As part of the course student test for the Logix5000 Maintainer Certificate Course Level 1 certificate exam.
Fanuc Handling Tool and Operation Certificate issued by Fanuc America
Part of the EEAS 225 course covers the tasks that an operator, technician, engineer or programmer needs to set up and program a FANUC Robotics Handlingtool Software Package. Students are provided weekly assignment with hands-on laboratory exercises. Upon successful completion of the course, participants test for the FANUC Robotics CERT I industry credential.
