Program Description
The Information Technology Support Specialist AAS degree provides students with a diverse education in Computer Networking, Cybersecurity and Programming which will prepare them for a variety of career options including network administrator, networking support technician, help desk support, networking engineers, and networking security, application programmer, web developer and others. The program also provides students with the opportunity to prepare for numerous highly regarded industry certifications from industry leaders Cisco, Microsoft, and CompTIA. These include certification prep classes on Windows server and client operating systems; Cisco routers; and CompTIA Security+, A+, and Network+. These certifications provide students with an additional way to demonstrate their skills and knowledge to potential employers.
