Program Description
A computer programming degree generally involves studying a variety of programming languages. Computer programmers are in high demand in todays technologically advancing industries, and students enrolling in this major will receive formal, hands-on computer programming training that is necessary for todays growing market. This major allows students to explore a variety of computer programming including Java, C++, or Visual Basic., and students may choose to specialize in specific language by selecting appropriate sequences. The most common career tracks for qualified students include: computer software engineer, computer system analyst, computer operator, applications programmer, systems programmer, computer instructor, and software administrator.
