Program Description
The Pharmacy Technician course is 12 weeks of classroom instruction for individuals interested in a career as a Pharmacy Technician, giving students the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare them for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. STudents will learn about the origin and history of pharmacy, calculating doses, drug regulation and controls, transcribing physician's orders, correct medication packaging, and more.
