Paralegals play an integral role in assisting lawyers and their clients with a variety of tasks including conducting research and preparing legal documents for hearings or trials to being involved in courts, law firms and government agencies. The certificate program focuses on the essential competencies required in the paralegal profession. Research, writing, technology and legal principals across a variety of areas of law will be emphasized.
