An introductory credential that prepares individuals to succeed in modern production environments that use Industry 4.0 controls, automation, and processes. This certification is appropriate for individuals working in any occupation in advanced manufacturing or those who aspire to this career path. This program provides instruction in concepts and terminology of smart manufacturing, basic setup, adjustment and operation of automated machines, safety and hand tools, blueprint and schematic reading, precision measurement, basic electrical control, pneumatic and sensor systems operation, basic robot operation and terminology, and production monitoring via HMI, Internet, Ethernet and smart phones.
