Program Description

This degree is designed for individuals seeking a career in fire science. All fire science courses at Waubonsee are approved by the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal. The Fire Science Program partners with local fire department agencies to provide unique training opportunities and highly specialized training often at off-site fire departments. Students may be expected to travel to other locations.
