Program Description

This course is designed to instruct the student in providing basic patient care, assisting patients in admission, discharge and helping for their examination and other office procedures. After the completion of the course, students will be able to draw blood in a professional manner with a fundamental knowledge of phlebotomy terminology, laboratory techniques, and utilization of universal precautions. During the course of the study students will learn the proper way of informing the patient on upcoming procedures, Electrocardiography, Hematology, assisting doctor and communicating with other health care professionals using appropriate terminology.
