Program Description
Becomes a medical coder/biller through this AHIMA-approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Training Program. Covers computer fundamentals, reimbursement methodologies, medical terminology, anatomy, ICD-10 code sets, and preparation for the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Associate (CCA) exams. Course is designed to be completed in four months with full-time study. However, enrollment includes 12 months of program access so that students can study at their own pace. Students will also be required to complete an in-person CPR certification course. Upon the completion of core course requirements, students are assisted with scheduling certification exams with the appropriate accrediting body. Students will also receive job placement assistance. Finally, students will also receive job readiness training covering job search tips and effective resume writing.
